Operations Excellence & Supply Chain Strategy

Operational excellence and strategic leadership are often taught separately, yet senior operations leaders are expected to master both. This course closes that gap, equipping participants to optimise performance at the process level while shaping the strategic direction of the wider organisation.

Participants will examine major process excellence methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, assess global supply chain risk and the role of emerging technology, and apply structured frameworks for analysing strategic drivers and formulating organisational strategy. The course closes by addressing how strategy is executed, monitored and sustained through periods of change.

This course is aligned with the CMI Accredited Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management. Participants who complete this certificate and wish to progress to the full diploma may do so through LIBT's structured pathway, with this course counting towards the relevant module requirements.
