About this course

Why This Course

Senior finance professionals are expected to do more than report the numbers. They are expected to interpret them, challenge them and connect them to the organisation's strategic direction. This course builds that capability, combining rigorous financial theory with structured approaches to performance measurement and strategic analysis.

Participants will critically evaluate the financial theories underpinning corporate decision-making, apply performance measurement systems including the Balanced Scorecard, and develop structured approaches to business valuation and stakeholder analysis. The course places particular emphasis on applying these tools to solve real strategic business problems rather than studying them in the abstract.

This course is aligned with the CMI recognised Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Participants who complete this certificate and wish to progress to the full diploma may do so through LIBT's structured pathway, with this course counting towards the relevant module requirements.
