Most people with a good business idea do not know where to start. They have enthusiasm but lack the structured thinking to assess whether the idea is viable, who it is really for and how it will make money. This course fills that gap, giving participants a clear, practical process for turning an idea into a credible business concept.

Participants will learn how businesses create and deliver value through the Business Model Canvas, develop a clear customer value proposition grounded in real market needs, and explore how to identify and reach the right customers across different market segments. The course also examines how AI tools are reshaping opportunity identification, market research and business model testing, giving participants an edge in developing and validating ideas faster and more effectively than ever before.

This course is derived from LIBT's CMI-accredited Undergraduate Diploma in Business and Management. Participants who complete this certificate and wish to gain academic credit may submit the module assignment through LIBT's academic pathway. Completing the full diploma makes you eligible for CMI Foundation Chartered Manager status and provides direct entry into the final year of an undergraduate degree at one of LIBT's university partners.
