Corporate Governance & Strategic Risk Leadership

Governance failures rarely stem from a lack of policy. They stem from leaders who do not fully understand the frameworks, codes and risk structures they are accountable for. This course addresses that gap directly, equipping senior leaders with a working command of global governance standards and enterprise risk management (ERM).

Participants will examine major international governance codes, explore how organisational design supports or undermines sustainable governance, and build practical capability in identifying, assessing and managing enterprise-wide risk. The course closes with a focus on embedding risk culture and communicating governance priorities credibly to the board.

This course is aligned with the CMI Accredited Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management. Participants who complete this certificate and wish to progress to the full diploma may do so through LIBT's structured pathway, with this course counting towards the relevant module requirements.

The Association for Project Management (APM) has recognised LIBT's Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management under its Pathway 2 Recognised Assessment for the Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) designation, placing LIBT among a select group of institutions whose assessment meets APM's professional standard.

Academic Progression
