Chartered Management Institute
This course is based on the Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management (Level 7), which is accredited by the CMI towards gaining the Chartered Manager status.
Build a rigorous, integrated command of project risk management, quality assurance and procurement governance. This course equips project managers with the analytical tools and practical frameworks to identify and mitigate risk, maintain quality standards and manage suppliers and contracts with confidence throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk, quality and procurement are often treated as separate disciplines in project management training. In practice, they are deeply interdependent. A procurement decision shapes your risk exposure. A quality failure often originates in a risk that was not identified early enough. A supplier relationship determines whether quality standards are met consistently. This course treats all three as an integrated control system, which is how successful project managers actually manage them.
Participants will develop structured approaches to risk identification, assessment and mitigation, apply established quality management frameworks including TQM and Six Sigma to project delivery, and build practical capability in procurement planning, contract negotiation and supplier management. Throughout, the course incorporates how AI-driven risk tools and digital procurement platforms are changing practice in each of these areas.
This course is derived from LIBT's Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, which holds APM Recognised Assessment status under Pathway 2 for the Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) designation. Participants wishing to pursue the full ChPP pathway may progress to the complete diploma through LIBT's structured academic route.
