Project Management in Practice

Most professionals encounter project management long before they receive any formal training in it. They are handed a brief, a deadline and a budget, and expected to deliver. This course changes that, giving participants the structured tools and practical frameworks to manage projects with confidence from the very first assignment.

Participants will work through the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, develop practical skills in resource planning, scheduling and scope management, and apply core tools including the Work Breakdown Structure and requirements traceability matrix to real project scenarios. Throughout, the course integrates current AI-assisted project management tools, equipping participants to work effectively with the intelligent platforms now widely used across project environments.

This course is derived from LIBT's CMI-accredited Undergraduate Diploma in Business and Management. Participants who complete this certificate and wish to gain academic credit may submit the module assignment through LIBT's academic pathway. Completing the full diploma makes you eligible for CMI Foundation Chartered Manager status and provides direct entry into the final year of an undergraduate degree at one of LIBT's university partners.
