About this course

Why This Course

Technical project management skills get projects started. Leadership and stakeholder capability determine whether they finish successfully. Research consistently shows that poor communication and ineffective stakeholder engagement are among the leading causes of project failure, yet these are the areas where project managers receive the least structured training.

Participants will explore leadership styles and their practical application in project environments, develop structured approaches to stakeholder identification, mapping and engagement, and build communication strategies that keep teams aligned and stakeholders informed through complexity and change. The course also addresses how AI-powered communication tools and digital collaboration platforms are reshaping how project teams work and how stakeholder engagement is managed at scale.

This course is derived from LIBT's Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, which holds APM Recognised Assessment status under Pathway 2 for the Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) designation. Participants wishing to pursue the full ChPP pathway may progress to the complete diploma through LIBT's structured academic route.
