The Strategic Operations Issues module aims to introduce learners to the core concepts of operations management and their applications across diverse organizational contexts. It covers the principles of Lean, Just In Time, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, and Supply Chain Management, and explores how environmental and strategic factors inform the operational design of organizations. By the end of the module, learners will be able to evaluate performance in the context of operations, demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Operations Management theory and concepts, and understand how quality is managed in service and manufacturing operations.

To pass the unit a 40% overall grade must be achieved.
